We know it's not big corporations or influential politicians driving change today; rather, it's everyday people making statements with their dollars at grocery stores, on-line shops, and restaurants for products and brands that align with their values. And more and more, personal values tend to align with global consciousness in many forms.
Hannah is all about the details...
Hannah Hyun has more than 20 years of experience in traditional and grassroots advertising, marketing, public relations, strategic planning, events and social media management. If you ask her what’s the most important thing she’s learned over the years about marcomm (marketing/communications), she’ll most likely tell you that its in the details…
Prior to co-founding Good Swell, she played a vital role in Hawaii’s renewable energy industry in marketing and business development, as well as management of public outreach and awareness initiatives for clients in both the private and public sectors. As a self-declared foodie, Hannah likes to stay abreast of Honolulu’s ever-evolving food scene, and has built and managed social media platforms and influencer campaigns for some of the most anticipated and talked-about new restaurants on the island.
Her career began in Los Angeles where she was involved in the strategic planning and execution of marketing and advertising campaigns for various Fortune 500 companies. Hannah’s diverse background in media sales, agency account management, media planning/buying, as well as an in-house corporate marketing director, gives her a deep knowledge of how these entities best work together to service a client’s needs.
Hannah is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego with a bachelor’s degree in communications. She also has a MBA with a marketing focus from Woodbury University.
In her free time, she enjoys experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, checking out the newest restaurant/cafe in town, catching up on the latest K-drama (usually paired with a face mask aka self-care), nurturing friendships, practicing yoga, and chasing sunsets with her hubby and daughter. She also savors solo Target runs.
